NEW MD FOR NEXUM LEISURE

Paul Kinsey, chief executive of nightclub operator Nexum Leisure, has announced the appointment of Tony Marshall as the company’s managing director, with effect from mid-April 2007.

Announcing the appointment, Kinsey said “We are delighted that Tony has agreed to join us. His knowledge and experience of the late-night entertainment industry will prove vital as the company moves into an aggressive expansion of its existing nightclub brands Escapade and Syndicate, as well as the introduction of a major new product.”

Said Tony: “I am greatly looking forward to working with Paul and his team to expand and enhance the potential of Nexum’s venues and to be playing a major strategic role in the company’s growth and development.”

Ian Harries, formerly Nexum’s operations director, will be promoted to retail and compliance director and will work alongside Tony Marshall. Peter Loader, formerly working for Nexum as a freelance, has joined the company full-time as security and development manager.
