Details of the Safer Doors Conference 2008 Announced

The fourth national conference specifically for the door supervision industry will be held on Wednesday 15 October, 2008, 9am-6pm, at Bridlington Spa Royal Hall, Bridlington, East Yorkshire YO15 3JH.
The event is aimed at door supervisors, line managers, directors and owners of leisure security companies, training professionals, equipment suppliers, police forces, local authorities and end-users and comprises a conference and exhibition.
Topics covered at the conference include: the impact of licensing and the weakenesses and strengths of the Security Act; training and door supervisors; the Approved Contractor Scheme; drugs abuse and sexual assault; the new Corporate Manslaughter legislation.
These and many more issues will be discussed on the day by a range of experienced and expert speakers from the leisure security and associated sectors.
There will also be a separate hall full of exhibition stands relevant to the industry, to help keep you up to date with the necessary equipment, training and support services to ensure that you remain effective and efficient within our ever-growing sector.
