Academy music Group Purchase New Birmingham VEnue

Academy Music Group (AMG) has announced the purchase of the 'Dome' on Bristol Street, Birmingham, for development as a premier live entertainment venue. AMG proposes a full £4m refurbishment programme of the 45,000sq foot purpose-built 1970's nightclub, which has been closed for many years. A licence has been granted for an overall building capacity of 3,836 at 16-18 Horse Fair, Bristol Street, Birmingham, West Midlands, B1 1DB. Full details of the development programme and formats will be released in due course.
