TRAXON UPDATES RANGE WITH SMART CHIP

Since the inception of their Mood Light line of remote controlled architectural lighting fixtures, Traxon’s technological advances in the lighting industry have continuously progressed to meet the client and industry needs.

Into these units Traxon have integrated a new smart chip auto-addressing for DMX as part of their commitment to offering their clients the most reliable and easy to use service possible. Traxon’s new 30cm RGB strip lighting, cove lighting and 25 x 25cm pixelated boards and modules all have smart chip on board.

The benefits of having smart chip technology include a refresh rate of 500Hz, 1KHz or 2 KHz; linear dimming curve and gamma correction; 250Kbz DMX transfer speed; auto addressing; built-in DMX transmitter and receiver; 14Bit resolution input frequency 8.16 or 32 MHz.

In simple terms this means that DMX installs will be much easier with these products as the installer will no longer have to address each piece or pixel individually, it will be done automatically.
