flirt! is the UK’s biggest student night, run in 40 Students’ Unions across the UK. The brand is managed by NUS Services and owned and operated by Students’ Unions. Attracting over 30,000 students a week, flirt! is synonymous amongst students with attending quality events and having a great time.
Building on a highly successful 2006, event organisers NUSSL are planning some exciting activity for the next academic year. The flirt!mobile will be cruising around universities once again, spreading the flirt! message to students around the country. A flirt! weekender boat cruise is on the cards and will offer students a complete entertainment package as well as a welcome break from their studies. The flirt! roadshow will also be hitting UK campuses touring full production and visuals and will feature headline artistes, giveaways and lots of fun and games.
In addition, NUS Services is to launch its second club brand in September. uDisco is an indie/alternative club night which is to run in 15 Students’ Unions nationwide. SUs will benefit from venue branding kits and staff uniforms along with the shared experience of the other Network members. The brand will be central but credible, with the majority of its marketing taking place on a local level and utilising MySpace, FaceBook and other social networking sites as the key means to communicate with its target market.
