Kriss Knight Ltd is the entertainment and promotions company behind some of the most successful nights across Manchester. Under the leadership of DJ Kriss Knight, the company has expanded over eight years to become a key resource for operational teams across the North West, providing venues with entire club nights, including concept, entertainment, materials, promotion, marketing and event management.

With a marketing database of over 100,000 clubbers across Greater Manchester, Kriss Knight has forged a reputation as a professional service that can drive up a night’s takings by setting up achievable profit targets on both the bar and the door. Unlike many event management services, Knight has the business experience and local knowledge to know what is possible for a venue, and picks his battles carefully.

“There’s a lot of great talkers in entertainment business, but all too often they promise you the world and deliver you nothing,” says Kriss. “Kriss Knight Ltd was created by the gap that this lack of professionalism has left in the market. As a professional service we never mislead our client. We come in and get a feel of the venue and agree with the client an ideal admissions takings and an average spend per head. Nine times out of ten, we find we’re able to create an event that records significant takings.”

This confidence has been bred from success. Kriss and his team have created a number of profitable parties across Manchester, or revived slow weekly nights, with the same talent for business and eye for a party. He has also held a number of DJ residencies across the city, for operators as diverse as Tiger Tiger and Sankey’s Soap, and is behind the Alive and Kickin’ concept, a successful under 18s night that plays out to weekly crowds in various venues around Manchester. It is this breadth of experience that has made the services of Kriss Knight so sought after.

“Whether it’s a successful or struggling night, we will always be able to propose a way to improve it,” says Kriss. “We have a great knowledge of the Manchester scene, and I feel we have been really helpful to operators coming to the city by fine tuning their nights to the expectations and local tastes of Manchester’s clubbers.”

Starting as a DJ at Tiger Tiger, Kriss has returned to the venue to promote a massively successful weekly event for Rough Hill Ltd. The event, which attracts over 1,800 students a week and has been rolled out to 11 Tiger Tiger units, is Vodka Island, a student night that encompasses five rooms individually themed around a tropical paradise. Now in its fifth year, Kriss has helped make the night one of the most successful Monday nights in Manchester’s social scene.
