Maximising revenue potential in busy clubs and bars has always been a challenge, until now. Zonal’s new mobile hand held EPoS solution allows you to take orders and process payments throughout your venue.

Typically, nightclub clientele divide their time between dancing, drinking and recovering in seated areas such as pods and VIP lounges. Fixed bars cannot cater for all these areas, but Zonal’s mobile EPoS allows staff to take orders and, in conjunction with Zonal’s wireless Chip and PIN device, process payments without forcing the customer to return to the bar. Its integrated receipt printer means that payments can be completed and receipts issued so that waiting staff can obtain a proof of order before issuing drinks. Not all customers are prepared to fight their way to the bar and Zonal’s mobile EPoS solution allows you to profit from this previously untapped revenue earning opportunity.

Once the smoking ban comes into effect you can profit further by taking the handhelds into the smoking area and making sales while customers are outwith the normal confines of your venue.

A host of features such as per-seat ordering, merging and splitting accounts are of particular interest to clubs that have restaurant areas, ensuring you can offer premium service to your clientele. Using the same EPoS application as Zonal’s fixed terminals, there is no need for additional training and customers can review their order onscreen or print a bill to ensure that the order is accurate before proceeding.
