The launch of the Vestax series of PDX Turntables provided the first credible alternative to the current industry standard turntables. With the impending launch of the new PDX-3000 series Vestax are further raising the bar.

The super sleek unit incorporates the feature set of the PDX-2000’s whilst adding Torque Simulator adjustment, a new digital servo that allows midi control, and a choice of A.S.T.S or new ‘S’ Tone arm. This enables DJ’s to match the turntable to their own unique style of DJ’ing.
“The PDX-3000 is the ultimate turntable for all types of turntablists, including the next generation of digital DJ’s, with its USB connection,” enthuses the MD of UK Vestax Distributor, Leisuretec Distribution. “It incorporates the new 2007 Vestax colour scheme, taking it back to black with a slick grey/black chequerboard enhancement. It’s more powerful than ever, and a must try product when it hits the shops this June.”

Billed by Vestax as the ‘ultimate’ turntable, the PDX-3000mix was revealed at the NAMM show earlier this year, with onlookers trying out the new rotation control firmware and reporting positively on both the new levels of control of delicate pitch adjusting and the unit’s aggressive speed control and motor/torque characteristic adjustments.

The kit benefits from many finely tuned adjustments. Dynamic static balance and vibration absorption pipes have been applied to the new S type tone arm, creating an excellent tone and following capability. Insulators have increased the howling margin been re-designed to have an air damping system which has increased the howling margin dramatically.

As a totally new feature, MIDI input connection is available on the PDX-3000. This allows external devices such as keyboards to control the rotation speed expanding the possibilities of the turntable.
Each assembly part has been reconsidered and checked and the precision and rigidity of the motor shaft and bearing has been upgraded. Making the PDX-3000 truly the ultimate turntable.
Meanwhile, the Vestax TUB-1 USB Interface has also been launched for PMC-08 and PMC-280 Mixers. The new product inspired by the VCI-100 and the next generation of digital DJs, the TUB-1 is available now, and delivers increased functionality and intereface options for fans of the PMC-08 and PMC-280 Mixers
