Monster events planned for O2

Rising energy drink brand Monster will be hosting its own skate and BMX events at this year’s O2 Wireless festival in Hyde Park at the weekend. The private area will feature ‘Monster Vert Ramp & Reefer Truck’, and host Skate and BMX talent from both sides of the Atlantic. Invited guests, athletes and the occasional rock star will be treated to flowing drinks and rider demos between 2-8pm Thursday and Friday, and 12 - 7.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The event will also feature Kerrang radio’s very own Christian Stevenson, X-Games presenter ‘Catfish’ and the ‘Alan Hansen and Gary Linekar’ of action sports – Bob Sanderson and Wingy - providing vert ramp commentary throughout the four day festival. The Monster Vert Ramp and Reefer Truck Bar area can be located behind the public bar at the Marble Arch end of Hyde Park.
The 02 Wireless festival hosts mega talent from; Jay-Z, to Fatboy Slim, Mark Ronson, to Morrissey, Hot Chip to Hercules and Love Affair and the Counting Crows to Black Kids, during the four day line up.
