SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH FOR FOSTER'S TWIST

Market data on Foster’s Twist has confirmed that the new S&N UK brand has made a successful entry into the market. According to to S&N UK, market data and consumer tracking surveys have registered consumer demand for Foster’s Twist in both the on and off trade sectors that has surpassed expectations.
The product, which was launched in July 2006, has been well received in the on-trade and has also proved the most popular brand in the recent S&N UK On-Trade Taste Tour, with 45% of those who participated in the experiential marketing programme returning to buy Foster’s Twist following the trial.
Phil McTeer, Foster’s brand manager for S&N UK, said: “Our latest consumer tracking data shows that Foster’s Twist is attracting more drinkers than other recent lager launches at the same stage of development. This is great news for the on-trade, and shows how product innovation combined with marketing investment can build on the appeal of a successful brand.”
