Coors launch new website for customers
Liquid assets , drinks news, night online, COMMENTS
As part of Coors Brewers commitment to support the on-trade despite difficult economic times, March sees the launch of Coors Direct - a website created especially for independent pubs and clubs to provide a hassle free ordering service and one stop shop deliveries.
Designed for ease of use by existing and new Coors customers, it provides a convenient, simple way to place one stop shop orders and includes exclusive offers, promotions, brand information and contact details, reflecting a determined and positive approach to growing its customers’ businesses in 2009.
With a range of products perfect for every occasion, Coors Direct features over 1,800 specially selected brands, including beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and coffee. It enables customers to access hundreds of Coors Hotlines deals as well as being able to view online all of the brands available in Coors One Stop Shop brochure.
Coors leading portfolio of brands head the line up, including Carling – Britain’s best selling lager for three decades, Coors Light, Grolsch, Draught Magners, Worthington’s, Caffrey’s and Sol as well as a range of speciality beers and lagers.
Sales Director for the Independent On-trade, Steve Ellis commented:
“We are committed to driving the beer market forward and the launch of Coors Direct gives a sense of our ambition to support our customers businesses and help them grow their profit. Providing our customers with a one stop shop at the click of a button, means they can order leading brands and get them delivered direct to their door – in one convenient delivery, allowing them to focus on the demands of running their pubs on a day to day basis”.
Coors are also developing a new dynamic publishing system, allowing customers to create their own beer lists, wine menus and promotional materials. This is just one of a new set of tools created for use by Coors Account Managers to make their customers lives easier. Another interesting project due to be released in the Spring is a consultative ranging tool – Coors Drinks Academy, that provides advice on building the perfect range for any bar and any consumer occasion.
Coors Direct is the first in a series of customer initiatives to be launched by Coors, who in January announced that it is increasing its marketing investment on Carling in 2009 to stimulate performance of the beer category, aiming to incentivise 1 million people to revisit their local pub or club.
