Multiply win Gold for Absolute Disco Campaign

Scottish marketing communications agency, Multiply, have won a Gold Award in the Field Marketing and Brand Experience Awards.
Multiply picked up the top prize in the Most Effective PR Generation Through Brand Experience category for their work on Maxxium’s ABSOLUT Disco vodka brand.
Multiply’s experiential campaign encouraged potential consumers to ‘Dance Like No One’s Watching’ and drinkers were invited in to a disco pod booth where they could strut their stuff in their own unique dance style for 30 seconds while their efforts were beamed on to external plasma screens.
As a result the style bar campaign produced a major buzz and greater recognition of the brand in the run up to the strategically important Christmas party season.
The FM&BE awards recognise the diversity and importance of face to face marketing as a core element in the marketing mix. Multiply was also Highly Commended in the Brand Strategy category.
The awards follow a hat trick of wins at the Institute of Sales Promotion Awards (ISP) where Multiply won three Silver Awards for the same ABSOLUT Disco campaign.
Multiply account director, David Roberts, received the award at a ceremony at the Grosvenor Square Marriott Hotel in London. He said: “The ABSOLUT Disco campaign worked extremely well across the UK and was an important part of the overall strategy of raising awareness of the brand. The awards we have received so far for this campaign confirm that our agency’s experiential work hits the mark time after time.”
